2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect: (a) identification and contact data you provide via forms or by email — name, company, address, email, phone; (b) transaction data — orders, invoices, delivery details; (c) account data — email and hashed password if you create an account; (d) technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referrer, collected through cookies and server logs.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process personal data to: perform a contract (respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and deliveries — art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); comply with a legal obligation (bookkeeping, tax records, warranty administration — art. 6(1)(c)); pursue our legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, analytics, direct marketing to existing customers — art. 6(1)(f)); or on the basis of your consent (non-essential cookies, newsletter — art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We share personal data only with processors and partners that support our services: hosting and cloud infrastructure, payment providers, transport carriers, warranty administrators, and professional advisers. All third parties are bound by a data-processing agreement and may only use the data for the agreed purpose. We do not sell personal data.

5. International Transfers

Where a processor operates outside the European Economic Area we ensure an appropriate level of protection using the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

6. Retention

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected: contact form data for up to 24 months; customer and transaction records for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law; account data until the account is deleted; server logs for up to 12 months.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may exercise these rights by emailing privacy@tmc-equip.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls and regular backups.
